I’m here to help you relax, unwind,
let go of your day,
and sink into a deep sleep.
This is your time to let go, and rest.
So give yourself permission.
Clear away all thoughts.
Just allow my voice to guide you.
You are safe, and all is well.
With eyes closed, allow your body to relax.
Release any tight muscles.
Just let go.
And with each breath, you sink into deeper relaxation.
Imagine that you’re soaking in a lovely warm tub.
The water is perfect,
and your body seems to float weightlessly,
So effortless, and soothing.
You slide into deeper relaxation.
Now thoroughly comforted, and tranquil.
These feelings flow into your heart.
Soft and gentle.
You feel sleepier.
Completely at ease.
So calm and still.
Now as I count from ten to one,
you drift deeper.
You become even sleepier.
Ten. Drifting down.
nine. You’re cozy.
eight. So peaceful.
seven. All is well.
six. Drifting further.
five. Even deeper.
four. So sleepy.
three. Thoroughly comfortable.
two. Deeply tranquil.
one. Sleep is yours.
Drifting further, your heart fills with wellbeing.
You are safe,
you are loved,
and you are at peace.
Your heart is full.
You will enjoy dreams of loving kindness,
for yourself,
and for others.
These words will continue to guide you.
I am safe.
I am loved.
and I am at peace.
You will awake in the morning,
refreshed and rejuvenated,
And you will carry a deep sense of peace and calm.
